I've had my Protege since 9 miles in early May of 2000.. mileage as of 3/9/02 is 33,550.. I've found the whole Mazda Protege community to be extremely helpful, starting when I was frequenting Protege Tech egroups alot in my early beginnings.. now there's protegeclub.com, protegemp3.com, and a couple others.. it seems that since the Protege 5/Protege MP3's introduction there has been a huge leap in the number of new Protege owners.. and thats not a bad thing.. the Protege is a good handling economy car.. with good looks..
